John has created a one-of-a-kind oak table with imbedded ceramic tiles: the same tikles found in the Ceramic Tiles section of Available Art. As with all John's creations, any future tables will be somehow different, unless special ordered. The tiles are 6" X 6" blue colored, incised images of six tropical fishes and a central "Geometric Wave" tile, and 8 flat-surfaced, blue highlighted spacer tiles. The tiles are colored with vivid blue underglaze; then sealed with clear glaze. The grout between the tiles has been sealed. The table is 24-1/2" wide, 36-5/8" long and 21-1/2" tall, with the outer 3" around the table being "sea misted" (frosted) solid oak. The enter table is made of solid oak expect for some interior components which assure the strength, stability and longevity of the tile inlays.
